What goes wrong today
Compounding is hard to picture
Clients understand a contribution this year, but not what it could grow into over a working life.
The tax difference gets lost
Comparing super with investing elsewhere takes two calculations, and the tax saving disappears between them.

Questions
What practices ask about the compounding super
Does the compounding calculator forecast a client’s super balance?
No. It shows the broad benefit of compounding inside super compared with outside it. It doesn’t take all of the client’s circumstances into account, so share it with an appropriate disclaimer.
Can it compare anything other than super?
Yes. It began as a super compounding tool and now works as a general scenario tool, with the comparison tax rate set at your discretion.
Can I print the comparison for the client?
Yes. Save the scenario first, then print it.
